Instruments
If you own your own personal instrument:
As a
courtesy, we allow members to store their
personal instruments in our closets and office
between events and rehearsals. We ask all
members to a. carefully and clearly label
their instrument, and b. register the
make, model, and serial number of their personal
instrument with the Equipment Manager.
If you need to borrow an instrument:
Penn Band
Instruments are signed out for the academic year
via the Equipment Manger. All individuals who sign out
Penn Band-owned instruments are responsible for
returning those instruments in May before
departing for the summer.
If you need instrument repair:
If you
experience mechanical problems with your
instrument (personal or borrow) during the
course year, speak to Greer or Koosh about the
possibility of getting the instrument repaired
via Taylor's Music. While your instrument is out
to the shop, we will gladly loan you a Penn Band
instrument for the interim.
Percussion and Tubas:
All
percussion instruments and Tubas are stored in
the Drum Closet on their respective stands or in
an appropriate case. No ifs, ands, or buts!
